FAQ: Allergies
What Are Allergies And What Causes Them?

Strictly speaking, as defined by Western Allopathic Medicine, (the kind of
medicine practiced by MDs) an allergy or allergic reaction occurs when your
body responds to the presence of something it comes in contact with internally
(breathed in, or ingested) or externally that causes an over-reaction of the
inflammatory response of the body's immune system (immuno-globins) which
can produce symptoms ranging from mild such as sneezing or itchy eyes what
is called anaphylactic shock where the inflammatory response if so severe that a
person's tongue may swell up along and their bronchial tubes contract so
severely that the person can't breath. Anaphylactic shock can lead to death in
moments if not treated appropriately. The typical antidote is a shot of
epinephrine.

However, when we use the terms allergy or allergic reaction we are including
food intolerances that are not necessarily of the same type as described above.
Rather, there are certain adverse reactions that occur for other reasons
including among others the lack of necessary enzymes to properly digest the
food or deal with the substance. Another reason someone can develop and
adverse reaction to something is an emotional upset at sometime in the past
either when you were eating or drinking or shortly before or after. This may be
hard to believe, yet it is nonetheless true. Emotional trauma is a major factor in
some allergic reactions. The following table shows some of the possible
symptoms of allergies or food intolerances.

Is There Anything That Can Be Done To Stop "Allergic" Reactions?

Yes, but don't waste your money on the painful and expensive scratch tests and
desensitization treatments that Allopathic (MDs) practitioners do. I don't know of anyone
that is happy with that process either in terms of cost, effectiveness, or pain.

I perform a simple painless test to determine what substances are creating problems for
you. Once confirmed, we can eliminate your allergie easily and inexpensively. How
would you like to only have to avoid all contact with the offending substance for usually
less than 24 hours and be free of your allergy?

In the treatment process we address the mental, emotional, and physical components of
your "allergic" or intolerance response. We will clear any stuck emotional energy that is
contributing to the allergic reaction. We check to see if there is any energetic organ
involvement in all organs.

The next step of the process involves you holding the substance in a glass container or a
vial containing the substance in one hand while certain points on your spine are
massaged. Finally, key acupuncture points are either massaged or needled or stimulated
with light.
